Sedona Adventure Portraits
If you haven’t seen my brand video yet (by Cam and Beck Videos), Shelby and Colby were the absolute stars of the show. They agreed to travel to Sedona for this portrait photoshoot, and climb to the top of Cathedral Rock….
I’ve done this hike a billion times and it gets me e-ver-y time. I see the sign and I say “1 and a 1/2 miles TOTAL?? EASY.”
BUT I am here to tell you it is not easy. It’s a deceptive little booger of a hike. Although short in distance, it’s ROUGH. The entire way to the top is steep. And uphill. And you have to take a million breaks or your lungs collapse.
Just kidding. But the great part about a million micro breaks up to the top, is they are a great opportunity to stop and take pictures.
Shelby and Colby wore a comfy outfit for hiking, and then changed into their more formal clothes at the top. But honestly their comfy clothes were also just as adorable and photo-worthy.
Sedona is just a beautiful place no matter the angle.
I know you can’t tell by their smiling faces, but getting to this point of the trail we were no longer talking because… oxygen choices.
But… the view is worth the work.

Sedona always makes for an excellent photoshoot. The red rocks, stunning views, breathtaking sunsets… all make this place my number one fave for Adventure Sessions in Arizona.
